They stood in the water and watched as the platform floated away, up the stream, against the gentle current. They watched animals line up along the banks, and birds filled the trees, like spectators at a parade. As they watched the platform float slowly away, their tears were replaced by a calm assurance and peace that it was possible for any man to be healed of his fear of scarcity or loss of abundance. If it could happen in each of them, then it might be possible that hunger in any soul could be satisfied by knowing the truth and not by what one seeks to possess.
